September 1, 2019 Holy Lasik by Pastor Marsha J. Moors-Charles
Bluegrass United Church of Christ
We continue our series, "Hits & Misses.' In this series, we learn lessons from the successes we've enjoyed and even our failures. We will take a look at some of the Bibles some of the most interesting characters and how their failures became transformative moments for them and us... misplaced, mistaken, misgivings, misunderstandings, misfortune and misjudged.Today we learn the lesson of judging and misjudging. We've all been "victims" of misjudgments, and it's likely we've all misjudged others. Pastor Marsha uses the analogy of having surgery on our eyes to clear our vision, then when we feel we can see things more clearly, we feel we must correct everyone else's perspective. God has a better plan.We would love to have you join us for a Sunday morning service. We gather at 10:00 AM at 500 Don Anna Drive in Lexington, Kentucky. You can learn more about us at www.bluegrasschurch.org and find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram at bluegrassucc.
