We are back with another episode of the #SoulBackPodcast. This week we interview R&B artist and one of our personal favorites Bridget Kelly. She has had quite an interesting journey in her career as she started off with Jay-Z's Roc Nation team before moving to the independent route. She comes from the 2012-2015 era which we deemed as the toughest years for an R&B artist, so we get her perspective on that time. We also talk about her new EP "The Great Escape" and her transition as an indie artist. On our end we talk about new music from Johnny Gill, Jhene Aiko, Usher and much more. We also talk about Aaliyah's legacy while factoring in the recent R Kelly legal case as well as the fact that her music isn't streamable on all major platforms.

Hey guys, we are back with a new addition to our Survivor Story series, long time no see!
In this episode Hannah covers the rape and attempted murder of Bridget Kelly out in Killeen, Texas. Bridget's story is truly one of horrific trauma that would set anyone back in their life. However, she overcomes her attack, makes a difference in the rape culture/community, and ends up finding love all along the way.
Hannah won't stop saying "at this point" throughout the episode (sorry in advance) and Kane makes a distant audible appearance. Enjoy!

One of the greatest female-fronted blues bands is The Bridget Kelly Blues Band, an electronic blues band. Their latest CD, Blues Warrior, was released on June 1, 2018, inspired by the #MeToo movement and covers issues like the homelessness, human trafficking, heroin addiction and more. Their most recent CD Bone Rattler charted at number 1 for over 6 months on the RMR Electric Blues Chart. Bridget brings lots of great ideas to the table when it comes to fan engagement and credits that to the closeness of her and her guitar playing husband. Her mission statement isn’t about financials or art as much as it is about connecting with her audience.
If you are a DIY musician looking for PR, look no further than Muddy Paw PR. They have secured multiple placements and performances for their artists.
