This week, I got to talk to a new friend Jan Owen. Jan Owen is a grief counselor and the author of Fighting Forward. Jan received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama, with a depth study in leadership. Jan spent 15 years as a licensed and ordained worship pastor. She is also the founder and president of the Give Worship Project, a non-profit which provided training for indigenous leaders. Jan graduated graduate school with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She owns a Private practice, specializing in grief.
