Teresa Stas is a national speaker, columnist, and CEO of Green Cactus, a live event sponsorship agency. Several years ago she was working for a music festival that required that her work for two months in a different state than she lived. Being focused on 10 hour days at work and physically separated from those that needed her started to impact her physically in a way she hadn't experienced before. During this time she realized that even though it is counter-intuitive to take care of ourselves first, she needs to be her first priority. Once Teresa made that decision the rest started to fall into place.
