I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.” Ephesians 2:8–10 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God‘s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.“ Ephesians 2:13 “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.“ Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

#100: Start Your Day like Wonder Woman with Kat Lee

Real Talk with Rachael Podcast

In this episode of Real Talk with Rachael I'm talking with my friend, Kat Lee who is passionate about teaching others how to jumpstart each day with a grace-filled, life-giving morning routine. She is a writer, speaker, podcaster, and founder of HelloMornings.org. She and her husband, Jimmy, live in Waco, Texas with their three children. Key points from today's conversation: Kat originally started her morning routines with the attitude that if it's worth doing, it's worth doing poorly. God time, plan time, and move time all serve the same purpose – to bring God glory and bring others to Him. When we focus on God's purpose for our lives, it changes not only the way we think about planning and fitness but the importance of them. We often overlook our time with God because we think of it as something to mark off a to-do list than a time to connect. “So often we wait for it to be perfect later in the day that we don’t just make that initial connection in the morning that can lead to so much more.” “Guilt is only an indication, not an identity.” Guilt should always be followed by grace. "Look at your morning routine as a path you’re choosing to be on instead of a goal to accomplish." “It’s never about when we start a day, it’s about how we start a day.” Use your guilt as a prompt. The moment you think you blew it is the exact moment you need to spend time with God. Hold everything loosely and keep asking God what He wants for you. It's not about perfection, it about progress.  Resources: Bible Memory app Verses app 3 Minute Morning Starter Kit Praying for Your Family Calendar Let's Get Real Practical: 8 Ways to Build a Habit: Differentiate between goals and habits Start with small changes Update your environment Tie new habits to other activities Some practice is better than no practice Tell someone you’re starting a new habit Track your habit Celebrate your successes This week, ask God what habits He wants you to build, then pick ONE of the steps above to implement in your routine. Heart to Heart with Intimacy + Relationship Coach Kat Lee

Empowered Curiosity Podcast

This is the very first episode of 2021 and I wanted to start out with a little somethin' special for you. We start this episode with a realignment. I share a bit of my story so you can see WHY I am so passionate about conscious relationships, emotional alchemy and embodiment medicine. I also share the values that everything I do sits upon. If you resonate with these beliefs, we are going to be gooooooood friends. When I started this podcast last year, my North Star was aligned with one word....Community. I didn't want this to be a place where I just talk AT you for an hour each week. I want to be having conversations WITH you. So I put out the call to the Empowered Curiosity Instagram community and received the most vulnerable questions that sparked some beautiful discussions. Though to be clear, this is not an advice column because in my opinion, advice is rarely helpful. In fact, if you walk away from this episode with even more questions than when you started, then I consider that a job well done on my part. Because that's what good conversations do. They become a portal to deeper questions that draw us within. This is the medicine of community. We may all have different struggles, but when we can connect with another person's story, see our own connectedness within, something awakens. Here's a glance at what you'll learn from me in this episode: How rock-bottom moments are the portal to awakeningsWhat the Ego is and how your Ego blocks you from healing woundsHow to get over the betrayal of a spouse who cheats Why slowing down is the SECRET WEAPON to connecting to emotions and creativityThe medicine and purpose of boredomThe investment for living a authentic aligned life is discomfortHow to pick the right tool to help you heal your traumasYour Speaker:Kat Lee is an Intimacy + Relationship  Coach, Podcast Host and Creator of The Heart Lab, who guides folks to alchemize their emotions, cultivate conscious relationships and embody their healing journey.Kat Lee's Website // InstagramThis podcast is made possible with sound production by Andre Lagace.Original music by Mayan Kites

Healthy Habit Building :: Kat Lee [Ep 300]

Don't Mom Alone Podcast

Whether we like it or not we have habits that define our lives. We have habits that determine when we wake up, how we spend our time and where we focus our energy. Joining me today to talk about how to establish routines and healthy habits is my good friend Kat Lee.  As the founder of Hello Mornings, Kat is all about helping people have a life-giving morning routine every day in as little as three minutes, but beyond just mornings, Kat has a wealth of knowledge to share on habit formation and a lot of encouragement that we can do them. “Whatever it is that you're wanting to change or improve--whether it's your morning routine, your parenting, your marriage--whatever it might be, if you believe that it's possible with God and you have a plan and you're committed to it, then you can only progress.” We talk about the idea of deconstructing habits we want to break to find solutions. Decision design and how our lives make habits easier or harder and we even get into a little neuroscience.  But ultimately, Kat wants to remind me and you that God is for us and wants our time and attention. “It's not just about the morning routine or checking anything off, but it's about tapping into the one thing that's going to help you the most each day. And I hope that if you walk away from anything from this episode, it's just that God is with you and that He is for you.” Connect with Kat:  Website: hellomornings.org Facebook: facebook.com/hellomorningsofficial Instagram: @hellokatlee Links Mentioned:   The 3-Minute Morning Hello Mornings book Kat’s podcast: Hello Mornings “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.
