On the season finale (episode 25) we chat with Amobi Okugo. Amobi Okugo is a professional soccer player, entrepreneur, and the founder of the financial-literacy platform A Frugal Athlete. He's been a Professional soccer player since 2010, when he was drafted after his freshman year at UCLA as part of the 2010 Generation Adidas Class. He currently plays for Austin Bold Fc. He created the Frugal Athlete to help shine a light on the financial decisions that athletes are faced with and increase financial literacy, with not only resources but also stories from athletes themselves. After launching A Frugal Athlete, Amobi launched his new foundation, Ok U Go. The foundation’s mission is to help children from low-income backgrounds to unearth their talents and passions to build a better life for not only themselves, but also for their families and communities. Through financial educational , athletic and social programs, the foundation plans to provide the necessary tools, avenues, and exposure for children to use their talents and passions to make their mark in society.
