#20 Kimbi Daniels Swift Current Bronco/Minor Pro Legend

Hockey 2 Hell and Back

Brady Leavold is joined by WHL and Minor pro legend Kimbi Daniels. Daniels holds the record for most goals in one game in the WHL with 7, while starring for the Swift Current Broncos. Kimbi won the Memorial Cup in 1989 with the Broncos with players like Sheldon Kennedy and Joe Sakic.  Kimbi was one of the highest ranked junior players coming out of the Western Hockey League but suffered from a degenerative knee condition that altered his lights out skating ability. After being drafted by the Flyers in 1990 Kimbi only played 27 games in the NHL due to his knee injury, all though he was able to reinvent himself and have an extremely incredible career in the Minors. He won a Kelly Cup with the Alaska Aces in 2006 and played close to 1000 professional career games averaging almost a point a game. Kimbi is now retired living in beautiful Anchorage Alaska.  Leavold also shares his second journal entry from a time when he was incarcerated during the summer of 2019.
