Judi Evans is an Emmy Award–winning actress,. She played Beth Raines on the CBS series Guiding Light from (1983–1986), but is best known for playing Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis a role she originated in 1986 on NBC's long running Days of our Lives. She was a regular cast member from 1986 until 1991, then returned in 2003 to play Bonnie Lockhart, another role she originated and played until early 2007. Later in 2007, she returned to Days of our Lives to reprise the role of Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis which she has played on a recurring basis since then.

Please welcome Judi Evans, an Emmy Award–winning actress,. She played Beth Rains on Guiding Light and is best known for her role on Days of Our Lives as Adrienne Kiriakis.  We catch up with Judi on her career and what she is currently working on and a look back at Days.

You know Judi Evans and Wally Kurth from their portrayal of characters Justin Kiriakis and Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis on the NBC daytime drama, Days of Our Lives. In addition, Wally formed a band with his partner, Christian Taylor back in 1992 called, Kurth and Taylor. In 2002, they won an Emmy for the song, "Barefoot Ballet", which was featured on the daytime drama, General Hospital.  In addition to Judi's first Emmy win as Best Supporting Actress in 1984for her portrayal of Beth Raines on the now cancelled daytime drama, Guiding Light, Judi was also nominated in 2008 for her portrayal of Bonnie Lockhart, on Days Of Our Lives. In celebration of the two characters third attempt at marriage, Judi and Wally are hosting a fan event called Justin and Adrienne's Wedding Reception, to take place on June 3, 2011 during the Days of Our Lives Fan Weekend.

Though Judi Evans was born in Montebello, CA and grew up in Monterey Park, it would be accurate to add that the actress grew up professionally on daytime. Evans made her television debut on the CBS drama “Guiding Light” in 1983 as the troubled Beth Raines. Her performance won her the 1984 Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Supporting Actress. In 1986 Evans joined NBC's “Days of our Lives,” where she portrayed the popular Adrienne Kiriakis opposite Wally Kurth's (ex-Ned, “General Hospital”) Justin. From 1991 to 1999 Evans played Paulina Carlino on “Another World,” a character that she described as "sweet and devilish." The role won her the “Soap Opera Digest” Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 1998. Evans was nominated for two additional “Soap Opera Digest” awards — Hottest Female Star in 1993 and Favorite Daytime Supercouple on a Daytime Serial — shared with Vincent Irizarry (ex-Lujack, “Guiding Light”) in 1986. After the cancellation of “Another World,” Evans took time off to focus on her family and moved back to California following her husband, an L.A.-based cameraman for CNBC. She returned briefly to acting in 2000 when she played Patsy Ramsey in the made-for-TV movie “Getting Away with Murder: The JonBenet Ramsey Mystery.” To the delight of her fans she came back to daytime in 2003 to play Mimi's trashy mother Bonnie Lockhart on ”Days of our Lives.” Bonnie left Salem in early 2007, but Adrienne soon returned to town. In 2008 she was again nominated for an Emmy, but this time for the dual roles of Adrienne Kiriakis and Bonnie Lockhart. This was a first for daytime since the characters were not on the air at the same time. She appeared briefly on “As the World Turns” in 2009, before returning once again to “Days of our Lives” as Adrienne Kiriakis.

At the 2010 Daytime Emmys in Las Vegas, Evans was voted by TV Guide as the “Best Dressed All Around” for the 4-day celebration of the Daytime Emmys with its Pre-Emmy parties and after-parties.
