Chew On This
Well known for his ground breaking films, Kidulthood, Adulthood and Brotherhood, Noel Clarke is a very well known director and script writer in the UK movie space. He has broken down barriers and his work has influenced other top productions such TopBoy. The recognition for his contribution to the arts came in the form of BAFTA which he won in April, but also in this same month 20 women are reported by the Guardian to have come forward to accuse him of committing various sexual crimes and bullying. He has since been cancelled and BAFTA revoked but no charges have been made. So in episode 21 we discuss Noel Clarke and explore whether trial by media is right way to deal with such sensitive matters.
