Matt Horn (Horn BBQ, Oakland) - better than yesterday
Dirty Linen - A Food Podcast with Dani Valent
Dirty Linen is thrilled to clock up 50 episodes in a chat with US chef Matt Horn from Oakland, California. There's almost too much to talk about with a Black business owner in the America of 2020. We cover Black Lives Matter, action against racism more generally, the Black pitmasters of the American south, the current California bushfires, the looming election and, of course, the pandemic. Matt is a brilliant conversationalist and thinker - it's a cracking chat.https://www.instagram.com/matthornx/https://www.hornbarbecue.comhttps://www.instagram.com/hornbarbecue/Follow Dirty Linen on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/deepintheweedspodcast/?hl=enFollow Danihttps://www.instagram.com/danivalentFollow Deep In The Weeds on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/deepintheweedspodcast/?hl=enFollow Rob Locke (Executive Producer)https://www.instagram.com/foodwinedine/Follow Huck (Executive Producer)https://www.instagram.com/huckstergram/

The Chef Sessions // Season 2 // Matt Horn // Horn BBQ // Oakland, CA
Good / True / & Beautiful | with Ashton Gustafson
Like all real Pitmasters, Matt Horn got his start in the backyard—his grandmother's backyard. Having developed and refined his meat-smoking techniques in the Central Texas style, Horn took his barbecue to the local farmer's market for a test run and later worked a few festivals. But being a true barbecue aficionado, he wanted to commune with other like-minded obsessives, and thus the underground pop-up Horn Barbecue came to be.For more information visit https://www.hornbarbecue.com // or http://www.kitchen350.com/story.
