SE02 EP06 - Michael Beale

6, 8 or 10 - Life & The Beautiful Game

I've known Michael just shy of 10 years, his journey is incredible as is his story...we finally sat down late last year to record it. I'm always excited to sit down with a guest and talk life & football. This was the 2nd time I've sat down with Mick to talk as we had previously caught up on the Scottish Football Coaching Podcast.  What you don't know is this episode was close to 3 hours long, we would've sat in the cafe at the Hilton in the West End all night but sadly he had to catch a flight to Iceland.  We touch on his childhood, his love for football and how he is an enthusiast of the game. We explore his journey through his playing career and then into his ever growing coaching career. He's worked at some of the biggest clubs in the world at all age groups. His boyhood club Chelsea, Liverpool where he made his name in the Youth set up before moving to Sao Paulo in Brazil. A short return to Liverpool would see him join a Club Legend in Glasgow at Rangers. Sit back, enjoy and thank me later. Bye Now!
