097 - Elaine Jeffy

Elaine was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. She is 70 years young and experienced 55 years of symptoms and is now free of them. Interestingly, recently she has been experiencing symptoms with her speech and has an understanding about why it’s come to her and is in the process of working through it.  She is a wealth of knowledge, I enjoyed my time with her immensely and consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity to interview her. While reading through her pre-interview form I was struck by what she had written. You guys are in for a treat. She is proof that it is never too late as she began her real healing at age 62. Originally from Los Angeles, California. She began to study the flute at the age of 8 and played professionally a great deal putting much pressure on herself. She had to stop in her 40’s because of symptoms. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in music. Married young, had 3 children all the while practicing and performing. She lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  After that she worked as a volunteer director for a large hospice company. She is a certified life coach, Certified Whole Health Medicine Institute coach and Certified Mind-body coach. She healed herself and is now guiding others how to do the same! Elaine Jeffy. Psoriatic Arthritis Diagnosis, 55 Years of Symptoms Now in Remission. It’s Never Too Late.

Wow.  This is such a powerful story with such a powerful woman who’s wisdom is palpable throughout the entire episode.  Elaine Jeffy’s mind-body journey began when she was just 5 years old and persisted throughout her adolescence and adulthood.  She was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis at the age of 38, and then had an MRI in her mid 50s that showed severe stenosis, scoliosis, bone spurs, herniated discs, bulging discs, and eventually had a spinal lamenectomy after years of her pain becoming more and more intense.  The surgery was unsuccessful, and even led to intensifying symptoms in her legs.  It was when her doctor suggested a cane and a walker that her journey led to discover Dr. John Sarno, Dr. Howard Schubiner and Steve Ozanich.  Her relief came after about a year of research and discovery, and she then enjoyed 5-6 years of a largely pain-free existence for the first time since she was 5 years old. In 2017, two weeks prior to recording her Wall of Victory Video, she developed this shakiness and hoarseness in her voice as her newest mind-body manifestation, and the wisdom she’s gleaned with this particular symptom is powerful and timely.
