Tell us about your journey to this point and what you’re working on at the moment .

Could we ask about your journey  through classroom teaching into leadership and whether your think good teachers make good leaders?

Teachmeet icons was a real force for good in the profession , tell us about the genesis of this idea and where we are up to with this now?

Students Are Being Taught Fake Science!

School may be out but the debate on what students learn in school is always in. Tom Rogers, coauthor of the new book “Darwin’s Replacement,” will argue that much of
what is taught in school science classes is fake including the theory of evolution. Rogers, who says his book was written with the input of three 2016 Noble Prize winners—plus a collection of Ph.Ds, M.D.s, independent researchers and more—will explain that evolution cannot account for the kind of super-intelligence it takes to create all living cells and life forms.

He can also explain what atomic biology is and why denying students the right to study it is fueling the epidemic of hopelessness so many young people feel today. In addition to being an author and the creator of atomic biology, Tom is an engineer and researcher who has received awards in chemistry, biology, and physics. He is a seasoned TV and radio guest.

Tonight on Show 17 of the MisesUK.Org Podcast, Andy Duncan speaks with Tom Rogers about his Mises UK Essay, which was a runner-up in our 2017 Essay Competition. The essay was entitled, 'Oil wars: Is this an accurate summary of US-led interventions in the Middle East of the 21st century?'. We explore that topic in a little more depth, as we approach nearly three decades of heavy western involvement in the Middle East since President Reagan pulled out the U.S. Marines from Lebanon, in 1984. We also talk about the human nature of warfare, the philosophy of Thomas Hobbes, and the book 'Nineteen-Eighty-Four', by George Orwell, amongst other subjects.
