True Crime stories seem to be everywhere these days. Whether it's podcasts, movies, or documentaries, someone is always bringing up some sort of True Crime story. For some reason, that's one genre I could not get into... until Carol opened my eyes. We chat about how society seems to be obsessed with stories of strange, scary, and unusual people, and why we are all so fascinated with exploring the darker side of humanity. She explains how Jack the Ripper started her initial obsession, and how she has spent her entire academic life learning about people like him. Carol Hanna recently marked 50 years in show business and 30 years at the helm of the talent agency she founded Carol and Associates. In this episode she tells Róisín Ingle how she went from the Knights of Columbanus to the Showbands, to Eurovision and Boyzone.
