This is a special episode of a conversation with my friend Megan Elizabeth. Megan lost her sister in 2018 to cancer. In our conversation she digs in to the feelings she had in those early days when her sister received her diagnosis as well as towards the end of her life. We talk about regret, faith and how she has been able to live through the grief of losing her sister. I connected with Megan years ago through our mutual love of scrapbooking. If you would like to learn more about her you can find her at https://bymeganelizabeth.com/

Megan Elizabeth: From Wool Days to the Making Things App
Collage Creative with Amy Small
Today I am here with Megan Elizabeth, the founder of Making Things, a brand new app that gives you access to a huge library of patterns from many different designers - digitally as a monthly subscription. The features are wide ranging but one of my favorites is that it works as a stitch counter tool and will hold your place mid pattern, so you know where you are when you set your project down and come back to it. It's a whole new way of thinking about the pattern design industry. Along with hearing about her business and how it's shaking up the pattern world, I think you'll love hearing about her unwavering belief in herself and her ideas. It is powerful and I hope, will inspire you to embrace the same within yourself. Let's dive in! Show notes here.
Click click click...nice! I welcome one of my favorite gladiators in a suit Megan Elizabeth to put a bow on Shonda Week. We talk all about the pilot episode of Scandal, "Sweet Baby". We talk cleavage levels, DC's deep dish pizza, and what it means when you wear a Dartmouth tshirt to bed. Show discussion starts at 20:15, dramatic reading starts at 1:13:20, and new theme song starts at 1:20:30. It's handled.
