Welcome Ryan Depaulo!

How does Ryan play WSOP events?  Given that he had to drive to a Whole Foods parking lot to win his bracelet, it seems unlikely that he lives in New Jersey.

Why doesn’t he just move to New Jersey?

Thoughts on achieving happiness in poker.  The benefit of having other pursuits in your life.  Ryan talks about his love for poker, with a brief recounting of how he got to where he is now.

Between poker, creating YouTube content, and streaming, what is his favourite pursuit?

Thoughts on his YouTube persona as a “degenerate gambler”.

Marle makes a comparison between Ryan and fellow YouTuber Gus Johnson.

Ryan momentarily flips the interview to ask Jamie how her WSOP is going.

More thoughts on the importance of having a life outside of poker.

What’s the story behind his friendship with Jeff Boski?

Does Boski have a beef with Jamie?  Apparently he has a lot of beefs.

Twitter is cancer, and YouTube comments are the plague.   Thoughts on the toxic nature of social media trolling.

Ryan shares his thoughts on how YouTube and Twitch commentators tend to be harsher on women than men.

Ryan jokes about transitioning to a female so that he can play ladies events.  Jamie tells him about Shaun Deeb’s previous attempt to pose as a woman in order to pay a lower entry fee for an event.

What are Marle and Jamie’s thoughts on ladies events and the concept of gender segregation in poker in general?

Do some women suck dick for stakes?  How prevalent is this practice?  An oddly in-depth discussion of the topic.

Are there some ways in which women have an advantage in poker?  Do the advantages outweigh the challenges?  Marle & Jamie debate.

Ryan has a rabid fan base.  Why does he think that is?

Why does he think that most poker content sucks?

What does he do for study?

What are his plans for the rest of WSOP?

Some thoughts on the need for new personalities in poker, and how Ryan fits into the overall poker personality landscape.

How did Ryan get into poker and vlogging?

Does he feel more inspired now to study and get better at poker, knowing that it can positively contribute to his creative content?

What did he do after his bracelet win?

Ryan made a run in the $3200 High Roller.  Would he have normally played that event, or was he just trying to ride the heater he’s been on?

Thoughts on living in New Jersey vs New York City.  Ryan’s plans to move to Jersey once his current lease is up.

Some final words of advice from Ryan.

Wrapping up.
