Austin Kieffer is an American Ocean Ski paddler originally from North Carolina. He's the best paddler in the sport from the USA and is a constant threat at the front of the field. Starting his love of paddling with whitewater he pushed hard but it lead to a failed Olympic campaign and left him asking what next. He started Ocean Ski then stopped, tried many different jobs, bounced around the country but it left him longing for more ocean paddling! With a supportive team around him he found a new love for Surf Ski and a new drive to be the best he can be. He's won the USA national title and has finished on the podium in the highly respected Doctor event in Perth. In just 5 short years, Austin has gone from paddling a surfski for the first time, to battling it out for podium finishes with the greatest paddlers in the world. He is now a force to be reckoned with and a podium contender in any of the biggest surfski races in the world.
