Episode 24 – Tom Beaupre from Florida Georgia Line shares his story in the Rambler
In Episode 24, Tom Beaupre shares his story and his beginnings with Florida Georgia Line. Tom and I hang out in The Rambler at the Nations in Nashville. Tom is the bass player for Florida Georgia Line, a song writer and does wealth management. In this episode, Tom talks about his move to Nashville to pursue music and what fears he overcame. Tom grew up pursuing music, but he still chose to get a degree after high school thanks to a very encouraging mom. After a few years of living in Nashville, he had a few roommates move out and thankfully was invited to live with a few guys who were starting a band. He has share some great memories with the members of Florida Georgia Line as a band and as friends. We also talked a bit about the challenge of being on the road while being married. I hope you enjoy this interview a much as I did. At the end of the interview, Tom will play a song he recently co-wrote. "In my 15 years living in Nashville, I have been fortunate to watch a lot of friends start their journeys with a back pack and a dream and end up being a huge success in country music. Yet the most frustrating part about being a friend and a fan to writers has been hearing amazing songs that will never leave the Nashville city limits."Nashville Hits Collecting Dust" is a casual, entertaining hangout with friends telling stories, giving valuable advice, and playing great songs that otherwise would still be sitting in a database."Tom is currently a full time base player for Florida Georgia Line but plays many instruments on top of his love for writing. My guest are pure entrepreneurs that are living out their dream of being artist and full time songwriters."
