Staying curious, recognizing the difference between resistance and outgrowing a dream, and always going back to your WHY with Raul Jimenez

Active Ingredient Podcast

This week we have Raul Jimenez, a Miami based SoulCycle instructor and recently now also a trainer at Kamps fit. Prior to his career in the fitness industry, Raul was actually on track to become a professional clarinetist and we get into his whole journey on parting ways with an old dream and pursuing something that felt more in line with his current interestsWe talk about always choosing to be honest with yourself, identifying the difference between resistance and truly knowing you have had enough, the importance of staying curious and questioning the status quo, understanding that our interests and active ingredients evolve as we evolve, making time for silence to nurture the relationship with yourself to really understand what your gut is trying to tell you, always going back to the why behind anything you are doing in life and reframing the question of who you want to be in 5 years to how do you want to FEEL in this life. 011 - Raul Jimenez Goes From PepsiCo to Making Business in the Gastronomic Industry

Chemical Engineering Guy(s)

This Episode is very special to me as it was the very first episode I recorded with help of one of my best friends from university: Luis Raul Jimenez. We chat about Chemical Engineering overall, going from recent graduate to a big company such as PepsiCo, climbing the corporate ladder, being a project engineer vs a field engineer and much more! More importantly, we talked about Chemical Engineering, Entrepreneurship and the Gastronomic Industry. Raul shows us how Chemical Engineers can fit in any industry, for example, the Gastro and Food Delivery. It is one of my priorities to find Chemical Engineers that are choosing the path as ENTREPRENEURS. I think that the world needs now more than ever new companies, new jobs and new products. Chemical Engineers must be going this way! We will be doing a second episode so please let us know your doubts!
