Schuyler grew up obsessed with lifting weights. He used it to lose weight and build confidence. In high school and college, he suffered from extreme social anxiety but was able to pull himself out through healthy habits. He loves everything about health, and his mission is to help men push harder and become better versions of themselves.
In this episode we talked a lot about the mindset, to act based on purpose not on fear and what immense power your thoughts have on your behaviour and your general mood.
My personal take-away from this episode was certainly “act based on purpose not on fear” since it is too often the case that I don’t do things because it’s scary and I forget about my purpose. So, this was a great insight and a  reminder of this.

Your alarm goes off at 5:30 a.m., the dreaded time reminding you to get up and get ready for work. Sure, you don’t have to wake up at 5:30. You could hit the snooze button a dozen times before you have to be at your job and take the kids to school. But think about it, what could you accomplish in those extra 30 minutes to an hour that you spent sleeping? Would you have more time to be productive for your side business? Would you be able to have some time alone to sit and reflect on the day ahead of your? What would it be like if you had an extra 30 minutes a day to focus on your goals or your passions?
