284. Set Yourself Free of Society’s Expectations with Glennon Doyle

Better Together with Maria Menounos

YouTube: https://youtu.be/Gdl0u3XHbCk Originally Aired: July 13, 2020 Feeling like you've hit your rock bottom? 3-Time NYT Bestselling author @GlennonDoyle can relate. After a severe alcohol addiction, a crippling fight w/ bulimia, and a broken marriage, she's reinvigorated herself with yet another lauded book "UNTAMED" - where she teaches women everywhere including me, how to finally listen to that inner voice and chase the life we actually want to live. There's a reason Oprah Winfrey is producing a scripted film based on her life. Glennon believes that women are tamed to shrink and disappear, rather than embrace the wild, beautiful lives that live inside each and every one us. Really, her message is simple: "Disappoint as many people as you can to avoid disappointing yourself."--- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/better-together-w-maria/support
