Welcome, this week's guest Katy Duncan!  Katy is a mother of 2 amazing children, wife to her great husband, mentor and friend. She was diagnosed with ADHD 10 years ago but only started taking it seriously about a year and a half ago. She is an advocate for understanding ADHD and other neurodivergent brains. Links below!  Katy dives right into talking about ADHD as we begin this week's episode, sharing some basics about what it is and what it isn't. Then I start asking about when she was diagnosed with it and in true ADHD fashion, we get distracted and go on a tangent. That's a lot of what happened in today's episode, we start talking about something, link to something else, talk about that for a while and then come back to the original question or topic. We cover a lot of amazing ground though! Through our conversation I've decided to look into meeting with a psychiatrist in order to see if I also have ADHD, (there are many specific traits that I have personally experienced, to where I believe that I might and have decided to seek more professional help) where before I'd been too scared or not seen the potential value behind it. In short, I gained a lot of understanding about ADHD talking with Katy. I share my 34th Vision Board success which was related to part of the conversation. We then share a few more thoughts on ADHD and wrap this one up.   In this season I'm talking with my guests about their story and how they've been able to "rewrite their stars" in their own life. Then after they've shared their story we transition into talking about vision boards for a little bit and I share one of the successes that I've had. Again, why I'm sharing my successes with you is to show that you can do the same thing, to use a vision board yourself and that you can rewrite your stars in your own life.
