The United States leads the World in Chronic Disease!!  And one of the most common is Heart Disease.  Cardiologists are typically clueless about molecular biochemistry of healing and they only treat the symptoms of heart disease.  That’s why it is very important to have a heart scan done so you know exactly where you stand and what you need to do to maintain your heart health or prevent an attack. 

Studies show that carbohydrates and sugars are the cause of cardiovascular disease (among others).  The Ketogenic lifestyle follows a simple formula of 70/20/10 – which is 70% fats, 20% proteins and 10% carbs.  The higher fat promotes the elevation of HDL and pulls plaque away from coronary arteries. Every ketogenic diet needs to be individualized to fit your lifestyle based on specific nutrient needs so that you have the right balance of vitamins and supplements to support the new lifestyle.
