Lynette Allen is a medicine woman, who uses the sacred plant medicine Cacao, ritual and meditation to bring alignment and grounding to earth. Women come from all over the world to sit in her A Woman's Blessing retreats and ceremonies, where they are honored for their personal journeys and encouraged to thank the girl they used to be, acknowledge the woman they are now and see the women they are yet to become. Discussion with Lynette Allen

Ayahuasca Talks

Lynette Allen and Rebecca Hayden talk about the feminine rising, Ayahuasca’s role in this and the unique opportunity for women and men to bond in a deep way through Ayahuasca. We share experiences in the workplace and discuss the positive changes we’re seeing in both men and women due to women’s changing roles. We talk about a more men friendly type of feminism and the great opportunities men have to be their best selves as a result of women becoming more open and authentic in their lives. We discuss the difference between the self-discovery and self-healing of Ayahuasca as contrasted by the self-medicating that happens with street drugs. We also explore the issue of shamanic transformations that occur with Ayahuasca, people becoming medicine practitioners and the attitudes surrounding that, the renaissance of this way of life from our shared origins and the emergence of the 21st century medicine women. This might not seem like a particularly relevant topic to you at first glance but personally, I think this is SUCH an important reclamation, it's a portal into so much of our primal power. I've seen that personally and with the women I work with in ceremony and circle... we are all so thirsty for ritual without even realising it. Now's the time for you to quench that thirst.

Interview with Lynette Allen April 11, 2018

Ayahuasca Talks

Lynette Allen is a women's life coach who has written several books on the subject and has now begun her journey with Ayahuasca. Lynette shares her initial concerns about the medicine before she had her own experience with it. She shares her own experience and talks about the kinds of changes she has witnessed as a result of her involvement with this teaching medicine. She speaks passionately about the immense possibilities of the medicine in terms of personal growth. She describes in vivid detail an experience of removing her own toxic energy with Ayahuasca. We discuss looking into these darker aspects of ourselves and the importance of this and how it helps us grow. She talks about how trusting medicine during difficult processes can be most beneficial. We talk about the states we experience after Ayahuasca and our heightened awareness of both lighter and darker states and how important it is to agree to work through it instead of run away from it as we often tend to want to do. Lynette describes an Ayahuasca experience of physical healing - another cleansing episode - and the reduced pain in her life afterwards. We talk about our learned physical tension responses and the long journey of working through this and how Ayahuasca helps with this. In the end Lynette underlines our personal responsibility for our own wellness.
