The man, the myth, the legend, Dave Hughes joins the girlies today and it is such a big get they almost thought it wouldn’t happen. But it does and they all go all the way off. Dave’s goss involves stories of his wild drinking days before going sober in his early twenties, his beef with Kyle Sandilands and being invited to the hottest night in show business (The Budget). They ask him what he loves and hates about himself and who he would fuck and watch between a spider and a snake. Gonna be honest, Hughesy wasn’t what I expected when I met him a year ago. Not sure what I expected but it wasn’t the philosophical, spiritual, meditating seeker I now know. We’ve since done some training together (in the lockdown gaps) and continued down the conversational existential rabbit hole every time we connect. If you like contemplating the small stuff like reality, the meaning of life and overcoming our programming, you might enjoy this. I loved it.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
