Critical Race Theory & Marxism – an Interview with Dr. Voddie Baucham Jr.

Blunt Force Truth

On this episode of Blunt Force Truth, Chuck and Mark talk with Dr. Voddie Baucham Jr. about Critical Race Theory, BLM, and Faith. Today’s show rundown:  Professor Jennifer Ho - She is a self proclaimed expert in White Supremacy If you are a black person and beat up an asian person, it is actually white people’s fault Who is forcing us BACK into segregation  We introduce Dr. Voddie Baucham, Jr. - and get the Dr.’s opinion on the opening convo 1619 project - is important because it re-orients American History / NOT based on our founding documents - because your intention is to talk about America’s original sin There are these PHD’s in all these new fields - dissertations - cramming stuff down students throats This thinking is an enemy to spirituality an in particular Christianity Mark is clearly America’s number 1 oppressor Where does critical race theory come from How hard is this to understand for the average American today? BLM has always been an openly Marxist / anti nuclear family / anti Christian BLM was founded by 3 black lesbian women who’s ideology is trained Marxists We have complex issues in this country that do not have a simple 1 word answer like racism  Get a copy of Dr. Baucham’s book here - https://www.amazon.com/Fault-Lines-Movement-Evangelicalisms-Catastrophe/dp/B08T6G7FCQ/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2WVZZMRKO9IF1&dchild=1&keywords=faultlines+by+voddie+baucham&qid=1621957617&sprefix=faultlines%2Caps%2C165&sr=8-3  Guest Bio: Dr. Voddie Baucham Jr. is the Dean of Theology at African Christian University in Lusaka, Zambia. Archived Edition of Christian Devotions SPEAK UP! with Dr. Voddie Baucham

Christian Devotions SPEAK UP!

Voddie Baucham wears many hats. He is a husband, father, former pastor, author, professor, conference speaker, and church planter. He currently serves as Dean of Theology at African Christian University in Lusaka, Zambia.Voddie makes the Bible clear and demonstrates the relevance of God’s word to everyday life. However, he does so without compromising the centrality of Christ and the gospel. Those who hear him preach find themselves both challenged and encouraged.Voddie’s area of emphasis is Cultural Apologetics. Whether teaching on classical apologetic issues like the validity and historicity of the Bible, or the resurrection of Christ; or teaching on biblical manhood/womanhood, marriage and family, he helps ordinary people understand the significance of thinking and living biblically in every area of life.It is impossible to understand Voddie’s approach to the Bible without first understanding the path he has walked. Raised in a non-Christian, single-parent home, Voddie did not hear the gospel until he was in college. His journey to faith was a very unusual and intellectual one. Consequently, he understands what it means to be a skeptic, and knows what it’s like to try to figure out the Christian life without relying on the traditions of men. As a result, he speaks to ‘outsiders’ in ways few Bible teachers can.Voddie and his wife, Bridget have been married since 1989. They have nine children: Jasmine, Trey (Voddie, III), Elijah, Asher, Judah, Micah, Safya, Amos, and Simeon. The Bauchams are committed home educators. To find out more about Voddie, his books and resources, visit his web site at: https://www.voddiebaucham.org/
