The Good Listening To Podcast: "Your Life & Times With Me Chris Grimes!"

Welcome to a special "Brand Strand" Episode of The Good Listening To Podcast - with me Chris Grimes!"Brand Strand" is where I wrap an Episode of the Podcast - with its strong storytelling construct - around a particular individual or Company - to amplify their Company or Personal Brand. And so to that end, please welcome to the "GLT Clearing" today: Kate Roberts L&D Professional - loyal friend personified - and Coach! And not as rumoured (!) the same Kate Roberts who when I Googled her, turned out to be one of the foremost Welsh Language Authors of the 20th Century - who #awkward - died - in 1985 (born in 1891)But I digress!Kate Roberts is a lovely and loyal friend who I've had the great pleasure of working with over many years in my Training & Coaching capacity.Wherever Kate goes - I tend to follow shortly, thanks to Kate always taking me with her to wibble on (usually!) about Personal Impact & Leadership with a bit of "Horse Whispering" thrown in as a cheeky-chappy-chaser!Enjoy!Yo can also "Watch/Listen" to Kate's Film on Vimeo here:https://vimeo.com/chrisgrimes/gltbrandstrandkaterobertsSo - thanks for listening! "The Good Listening To" Podcast is the series that features "The Clearing":  Where all good Questions come to be asked and all good Stories come to be told!Think "Desert Island Discs" but in a Clearing - and with Stories rather than Music! There are some lovely juicy storytelling metaphors to also enjoy along the way:The Clearing itself - A Tree (where we get to "shake your tree to see which storytelling apples fall out, in the form of a lovely storytelling exercise called "5-4-3-2-1") - some Alchemy - some Gold - and finally a Cake with a Cherry on Top!Also think about William Shakespeare - and about Jaques in "As You Like It" in particular:"All the world's a stage,And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances,And one man in his time plays many parts,His acts being seven ages..."And as my Guest in the Podcast:  Now is your 'moment in the sunshine' to share your story!Who are you? What's your story? And what 'life-lessons-learned-along-the-way' would you like to share with us? And just to get bit "existential on yo ass" too (!) what would you like your legacy to be?  How would you most like to be remembered? And all my guests have at least 2 things in common: They are all Creative individuals  - and all with an interesting story to be told!If you'd like to find out more, then please do check out my websites www.secondcurve.uk + www.instantwit.co.uk - and there's also a dedicated "Good Listening To" Facebook Group c/o the link above.Plus if you'd be interested in the experience of being given "a damn good listening to" yourself, or you'd like to explore the idea of some Personal Impact Coaching from me CG - to help 'Level Up' your IMPACT - then, by all means, do get in touch via any of the usual social media channels (see above) or you can email me at chris@secondcurve.uk Here too is a link to my 'Level Up' your IMPACT Flyer: https://secondcurve.uk/app/uploads/2018/06/SC_level-up.pdf

When you are "willing to look" at things and start seeing them new & fresh, things start to look new and completely different. - Kate Roberts.

Live the life you want!

When you are "willing to look" at things and start seeing them new & fresh, things start to look new and completely different. - Kate Roberts. In this episode of « Dream it! Dare it! Do it! Live the Life you Want! » I invite you to join me, and coach Kate Roberts for a down to earth conversation on misunderstandings. It  includes identifying how to look at things differently and how creating a space leads to greater insight.  Rob inspires us to keep moving, keep noticing the space where our thoughts influence the way we move our body. After spending nearly 15 years teaching high school, Kate followed her quiet knowing into the world of coaching.  She knew that she wanted to help others to enjoy their lives more, but never anticipated the changes that would take place in her own life.  Kate learned a simple and yet profound truth about how we work as human beings and what is on offer for all of us.  From this understanding, she and her clients experience more joy, success, ease and less stress in every area of life.  Peace, personal insights and effortless change abound from living life from this new space and each day is a new adventure.   This episode was recorded on February 04, 2021 For more information on Jasmyne, visit www.CoachJasmyne.com On Kate Roberts, www.KateRobertsCoaching.comPodcast:  Under the noise. Tales of a Red Clay Rambler: A pottery and ceramic art podcast

Today on the Tales of a Red Clay Rambler Podcast I have an interview with Kate Roberts. Roberts often uses unfired clay to create sculptures of topiaries, gates, and landscapes that feel both ancient and temporary, like they might slip out of existence right before your eyes. In our interview we talk about the influence of literature on her work and the risks and rewards of building site-specific installations. Kate has an exhibition titled After Image on display now until February 5th at the Jane Hartsook Gallery in New York City. For more information visit www.greenwichhouse.org or www.katerobertsceramics.com. On today’s Amaco Community Corkboard we have a series of online ceramic workshops with Clay Share. This network for online ceramic learning features classes, community forums, and other resources to help give your studio practice a boost. The next workshop features Adam Field, who will be teaching about Cultivating Inspirations in Clay over the next two weekends, January 16th and 23rd, 2021.
