In this episode, I, talk to the talk to one of my favourite comedians MATT RICHARDSON about his comedy career. Matt Richardson is an award-winning presenter and comedian. At 18 years of age, Richardson began performing stand-up comedy in 2009. He appeared in the finals of So You Think You’re Funny and the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year in 2010. Richardson's first solo show, Hometown Hero, won Best New Show at the 2012 Leicester Comedy Festival and went on tour in 2013 / 2014. At the Edinburgh Fringe, I saw his further solo shows Slash (which went on tour) in 2017 and Imposter in 2019 (which is continuing to tour in 2021). Richardson has all the ingredients of a great comedian – confidence, delivery, timing, and great material. I have seen him many times on stage and he made me cry with laughter.. Episode 3 - King of The Frogs (With Matt Richardson)
Miss Adventures in Travel
Join us for a great episode as Matt tells us he ended up alone overnight in one of the most haunted hotels in the country and why being flown to Australia for "I'm A Celebrity" isn't as fun as it sounds...plus we'll of course fill you in on some more of Jo's colourful dating history!
Matt Richardson, University of Delaware Class of 2018, talks about sticking to your values and pushing your comfort zone. Do it within means obviously, but why wait until we're 30 to push our comfort zone? Youth is scarce. Make stories and memories that will last a lifetime, and you won't die boring. Real talk, no edits.

The guys are joined virtually this week with Matt Richardson of Titled Barn Brewery! On multiple levels, Matt has a story unlike any we've heard to date. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Matt bucked a trend we've grown used to, and instead of dreaming of a urban life outside of country roots, he actually wanted to get out of the 'burbs of Providence and find a quieter pace of life elsewhere. So, he went to college in Vermont, fell in love with beer, moved back to Rhode Island, fell in love with his future wife, and before he knew it he was the only commercial hop grower in the state or Rhode Island. You'll have to listen to hear about his transition to brewery owner, but we wade firmly into it and also talk about the difficulties of literally living at your brewery, the push/pull of expansion, the perpetual challenges of delegation, and tons more in one of the most enjoyable and natural brewer-to-brewer conversations the podcast has seen with what just might happen to be the nicest guy on Earth. This week, Daddy and Helen speak to the fabulous Matt Richardson about his signs of early promise as a child. Matt is a comedian and presenter who, having started stand-up in 2009 at 18 years old, became one of the youngest comedians on the circuit and soon made it through to the finals of two national stand-up competitions – the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny and the Chortle Student Comedy Award. As a presenter you're most likely to have spotted him as the co-presenter of ITV2's The Xtra Factor or heard him hosting the drive time show on Virgin Radio!Helen Bauer and Rosie Jones will probe the guest on the pivotal moments in their early life; from childhood, to romance, and everywhere in between, we want the highs and lows that make it so obvious that this craving for attention ensured our guest was a born entertainer. You can follow our Instagram and like us on Facebook! And you can follow Rosie and Helen on Twitter! This is a Studio71 production.
