Kühl join Robert via Zoom to play tracks from their recent album on Tru Thoughts, talk about the history of Gnawa music from Morocco and how this project fusing Gnawa and electronic music came about.  For the first hour there is music from Jack Penate (produced by Inflo… the man behind Sault and also featuring Malcom Catto on drums). A brand new remix of Anderson .Paak’s Lockdown anthem. Smoove cleverly chops up the original breaks as used by A Tribe Called Quest together. Krewcial re-edits a classic from Chaka Khan. The Sugarloaf Gangsters with a tempo changing Brazilian influenced drum workout. Plus plenty more musical treats.
