The Moonlighters’ Club: Entrepreneurs Living As Employees
Meet Ivy Watts. A former student-athlete who graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a top 30 finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award. During her collegiate career, Ivy struggled daily with anxiety, self-worth and depression. After seeking help, Ivy now promotes mental wellness and reduces stigma around mental illness by sharing her story through public speaking and her blog, Beautifully Simply You. Ivy empowers others to speak their truths, know that they are not alone, learn the beauty of self-love and find strength to keep fighting for their tomorrows.
On this episode of the Greatest Day Podcast I talk to Ivy Watts, a mental health blogger and speaker. When Ivy graduated, she was one of the most decorated athletes in her college's history, held 5 school track records, and named 2015 Northeast-10 Conference Woman of the Year. She now uses her background as an athlete, and her own struggles, to talk about how her self-worth was sacrificed and how she has built herself back up. She shares personal stories of her younger years and her passion to help others see and feel self-love is present throughout the episode. Find Ivy online and soak in all the positive vibes and education she puts out to the world. Make sure to share this episode and tag Ivy and myself as we all continue to fight mental health stigma, promote self-love, and help everyone live each day with the Greatest Day Mindset.
