To be a successful freelance writer, you need to be a mindful freelancer. For Clint, this really paid off and he provides these tips for freelance writers who are looking to succeed in their new career:

1. If your name is going to be on it, be sure it is your best effort.  2. Do your best research for the article and use legitimate sources. 3.. Follow the style guidelines that the client provides. 4. Make it easy for the editor to do their job.  5. Stay organized with a writing calendar.  6. Find new avenues to pitch clients, such as LinkedIn or asking for editor referrals. This is a great time to be a freelance writer and build your online business.
