Today's episode is a conversation with Joseph Solomon. Joseph is a senior public servant who took two and a half years out from his career to care for his three children. He has a lot of wisdom about fatherhood and parenting, and I'm delighted to share it with you.
"Our past is bleak. Our future dim. But I am not reasonable. A reasonable man adjusts to his environment. An unreasonable man does not. All progress, therefore, depends on the unreasonable man" - Toni Morrison I have a conversation with Joseph Solomon about the world changing, how this new world has changed us, and how we want to return the favor and change the world!
Rep. Joseph Solomon from RI’s 22 district is today’s guest. He talks about how he worked at the RI General Assembly for 6 years before running for office in 2014 and that the economy was one of the main issues that drove him to run for office, because he wanted to bring new ideas to the table. He believes we need to get involved to change things and make a difference, and that everyone can get involved at some level, specially the Portuguese-American community. He also believes that exchanging information with Portugal can be beneficial to the state of Rhode Island.
