Decades in the writing and publishing industry makes Karen an expert on so many things. And amazingly enough, she says everything comes back down to story. Karen ghost writes stories, coaches authors to get their story written and works at the hybrid publisher James Morgan, so basically her life is all about helping stories get out into the world! Karen loves using Scrivener for writing and organizing books and highly recommends it. She talks quite a bit about it in the podcast. Karen Anderson: What Successful Authors Do Differently
The Daily Writer with Kent Sanders
My guest today is Karen Anderson, and she imminently qualified to talk about what it means to be successful as an author. She is a Strategic Book Coach and Associate Publisher for Morgan James Publishing (full disclosure: I am a proud literary scout for Morgan James!). Karen is also a nationally published author, a co-author on numerous books, a self-published author, a ghostwriter, and an editor. She recently co-authored with her husband, Steve, the Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller The Bezos Letters: 14 Principles to Grow Your Business Like Amazon, which has now been translated into 18 languages. Karen's newest project is called Unleash the Power of Your Book. She and her business partner, Marji Ross, help already-published authors re-launch and leverage their books to increase sales and maximize revenue, no matter when the book came out. On this episode, Karen talks about various ways to define success, the biggest mistakes authors make, and the ways successful authors think differently. Episode #15 - Talking With The Animals (Healing Pet Loss) - with Karen Anderson
The Finder of Lost Things with Hannah Velten
Hannah's joined this week by pet loss specialist and animal communicator, Karen Anderson. From a young age, Karen was able to hear animals speaking to her, but she soon learnt that this was a gift to keep hidden. Over the years she worked in a variety of roles, but every so often she would have a conversation with an animal which called her back to this work. We discuss how to speak to animals, how best to heal the loss of a beloved pet and what we can learn from animals (both in the physical and in Spirit). With the recent passing of her own dog, and the new arrival of a puppy, Hannah also has questions for Karen.
