Cory Gardner recaps Friday debate with Hick; Deacon Geoff Bennett on Prop 115
In a debate seen only by a select few who sought it out online, Cory Gardner went on the attack against John Hickenlooper from the outset. Hickenlooper refuses to debate Gardner during prime time television viewing hours for some reason (wonder why?), so the incumbent will just have to settle for the openings the former Governor gives him. Senator Gardner joins Dan to discuss Friday's debate in Pueblo, and where the campaign goes from here during its final month.
Deacon Geoff Bennett: How to vote as a faithful Catholic
Respect Life Radio
Learn "how to vote as a faithful Catholic, but really how to vote as a faithful citizen who is based, and rooted, in the moral foundations of our Church," said Deacon Geoff Bennett, the host of Respect Life Radio. "It is critical that we get involved in the political process. We are not just observers; we need to be participants. We're not going to call on one political party or the other. But look, what they stand for should dictate who we should vote for. Everybody should defend life, from conception through natural death. Those are kind of non-negotiables. And we're going to talk about why this is so important." For more background, see "Colorado Catholic Conference, as well as information on Colorado ballot initiatives, including Prop. 115 to end late-term abortion, which all four Colorado bishops endorsed in this letter.
Deacon Geoff Bennett: Praying for kids guided to Drag Queen Story Hour
Respect Life Radio
"Go to RespectLifeDenver.org to find out more details about prayer vigils and what we're planning on doing to defend children and protect them from these harmful [Drag Queen Story Hour] shows that are really trying to indoctrinate them," said Deacon Geoff Bennett, the host of Respect Life Radio. "What we have found is that this is actually an organized plan. This isn't something just happening randomly throughout the United States." Listen to what Deacon Geoff discovered from the American Library Association, and also hear his interview with a father of two young children concerned about Drag Queen Story Hour in his Colorado community. In addition, Respect Life Denver invites those concerned to attend morning Mass at Nativity of Our Lord in Broomfield on Saturday, Feb. 29, then participate in a public Rosary and prayer vigil in front of the Broomfield Library. The prayer vigil will take place at same time that the library is inviting children to attend a Drag Queen Story Hour that morning.
