Chapter 14: My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult

Unscripted Musings

Hey Coconuts, We hope you enjoy our discussion on My Sister's Keeper and some of the ethical questions it raised. We loved this book! It opened doors for people to have conversations on very difficult topics such as parenting, emancipation and the cost of love. One of the conclusions we had was that morals do not necessarily always support ethics. In the case of Anna, it was ethical for her to be an organ donor to Kate, but morally it was wrong as it robbed Anna of a life and childhood.  PS. We acknowledge we aren't mothers but we've learnt about different parenting styles from several mediums, to form an educated opinion! LOL. Anarkali played around with Saman's audio by placing her hand on the mic. We should talk to her and file for emancipation!  Time Stamps:  0:00 - 6:40 Adulthood and it’s painful glory  6:40 - 13:10 My Sister’s Keeper Introduction  13:10 - 13:56 APL? IPL?
