Dr. Kevin Sabet Wants You to Reconsider Marijuana Legalization
The Dom Giordano Program
Dr. Kevin Sabet, author of Smokescreen, joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss an opinion piece he penned for the Philadelphia Inquirer, arguing against the vote tomorrow in Philadelphia to legalize marijuana. Sabet, a three-time White House Drug Policy Advisor, explains why the industry of marijuana is the next ‘big tobacco,’ and tells about the downfalls of marijuana legalization. Dr. Sabet explains that the addictive nature, the myth that marijuana is not addictive, is enough alone to reconsider the full force push toward legalization. Dr. Kevin Sabet further explains other detriments that would come in conjunction with legalization, and tells the difference between legal marijuana and legal alcohol.
