“You just have to get up every day and make some forward progress, inch by inch if you have to.” — Andrew Paul
Running a small business can sometimes feel like executing a military operation. The truth is, there are similarities! To be successful in either, you must first master the fundamentals and then persevere, no matter what it takes. In this episode, former SEAL Lt. Cmdr. Andrew Paul gives Brian a fascinating glimpse into the notoriously private world of the Navy’s primary special operations force. Paul describes the extremely tough training that all SEALs must undergo, he recalls his deployments in Iraq and explains how he transitioned to civilian life after active duty. He also outlines how the SEAL mindset and focus on service has helped him to build a very successful mortgage business.
