86 Worldtowning: with guests Will and Jessica Sueiro

A Brilliant Gamble

A Brilliant Gamble is all about betting on the world of work changing and taking the risk of saying NO to the 9-5. Work isn't working as it is, that's for sure. And more and more people, myself included, are asking whether it has to be this way? Can we configure a life where work integrates seamlessly rather than requiring us to make sacrifices to succeed? It was with this in mind that I spoke to Will and Jessica Sueiro - they travel the world with their children, and a hamster called Sunshine, in an RV and have lived in other countries like locals for more than three years. Will and Jessica left their jobs in Boston to take this adventure and now they help others who want to do the same thing through their business, Worldtowning. Their story is fascinating, honest, funny and inspiring. I was partly inspired by Will and Jessica when I decided to pack up my daughter, dogs and life and hit the road as a digital nomad in Europe. I'm sure you'll enjoy listening and will be inspired by Will and Jessica too! To find out more about Worldtowning, please visit their website or find them on Twitter or Instagram. Enjoy the show from the archives and, as always, stay in touch!

Ep95 Pulling the Ripcord was a Living Hell but a Family of 4 Finds Their Way Wandering the World - Will and Jessica Sueiro ✈️ 🚌

GO HUNT LIFE

Will and Jessica Sueiro left their 9-to-5 jobs in Boston behind, pulled their kids from school and set out on an adventure wandering the world but the first 6 months of their new lives turned into a living hell. Their first stop was Costa Rica and what they quickly learned is that there was no amount of planning that could have prepared them for the transition from normal life in the States to their new lives full of unstructured chaos wandering the world. They kept pursuing their dream and didn't let the minor setbacks force them to go back on their decision to live a bolder and fuller life. Fast-Forward a few years and they've just relived that first 6 months of chaos and frustration after their kids convinced them to buy an RV and for them to wander across Morocco. "We do not learn from our mistakes but that has made all the difference in our journey." Jessica Sueiro In this episode the Sueiro's share... Pulling the kids from school without ever home-schooling them before. Telling their friends but deciding to avoid naysayers by telling them that it was just for a year. Battling the first 6 months of chaos in Costa Rica and why it was so difficult. The mistakes that they made in the transition. Balancing their new roles as Jessica's income was now supporting the family. Getting adjusted to home-schooling the kids. Creating WorldTowning.com to help others transition into pursuing the road less traveled. I would like to thank previous podcast guest Kim Dinan for introducing me to Will and Jessica. You can find Kim’s story of adventure travel re-shaped by an unexpected gift, a yellow envelope, on podcast episode #86. ----Show Notes--- Worldtowning.com Socials @worldtowning Youtube @worldtowning 👍 FOLLOW US 👍 Instagram: http://instagram.com/gohuntlife Twitter: http://twitter.com/gohuntlife Facebook: http://facebook.com/gohuntlife Go Hunt Life on Youtube Review the Go Hunt Life podcast on Apple Podcasts. Episode 65: Worldtowning: With guests Will and Jessica Sueiro

A Brilliant Gamble

Welcome to A Brilliant Gamble! This is the 65th episode of this show but the first with our new name. A Brilliant Gamble is all about betting on the the world of work changing and taking the risk of saying No to the 9-5. Work isn't working as it is, that's for sure. And more and more people, myself included, are asking whether it has to be this way? Can we configure a life where work integrates seamlessly rather than requiring us to make sacrifices to succeed? It was with this in mind that I wanted to speak to today's guests. Will and Jessica travel the world with their children, and hamster called Sunshine, in an RV and have been living in other countries like locals for more than 3 years. They left their jobs in Boston to take this adventure and now they help others who want to do the same thing through their business, Worldtowning. Their story is fascinating, honest, funny and inspiring. It's partly because of them that I am taking my daughter and dogs on our big trip, starting later this week (!). I'm sure you'll enjoy listening to them. If you want to know more about Worldtowning you can find them at www.worldtowning.com and on YouTube and Instagram.
