Kwame Agyemang: How to Start the Conversation Society Needs to Hear
The Secrets to Winning with Dr. Bhrett McCabe
The Secrets to Winning Podcast is not always about winning on the field. Sometimes, it's about winning the issues going on in the world. There is a lot of tension in this world right now, and we have a very, very important discussion about race in the United States and how that relates to police brutality, justice, and individual differences. I didn't want to be one of those individuals that got up and "virtue-signaled" or said how it needed to be because I don't know. But I am a guy who wants to hear from people who invest their time, put their butts on the line, and form opinions that we should all listen to. Today's guest - Kwame Agyemang - is one of those individuals that I've come to really, really respect because of his thoughtfulness and his insight. And, most importantly, because he wants to have a discussion. He understands the sports world. He understands topics of race, managing social change, and unifying voices, and also amplifying voices. And he is somebody who I followed on social media for some time. I could not wait to have this conversation about race in the United States and across the world.
Come Inside: Seeing Christ Correctly and Abiding Till The End // Romans 16:25-27 // Kwame Agyemang // January 26, 2020.
Mid Tree Church
Before his family's move to metro Atlanta, Kwame Agyemang, a member of our leadership team, delivered his last sermon to Mid Tree Church. In this message, Kwame shows us that in order to see God correctly and receive true strength, we must see our need for a Savior, see that good works and our bad works will not give us Jesus and see Jesus as the true King that He is. This sermon was recorded on January 26, 2020.
Who We Are, Where We Are And What God Has Done // 1 Peter 1:1-9 // Kwame Agyemang // November 24, 2019.
Mid Tree Church
Who are we? A people chosen by God. Where are we? In a fallen world with fallen situations. What has God done? He has made us alive to a living hope, so that every good and bad thing will be used to make us look more like Christ. There's no escaping his goodness toward us. This sermon was recorded on November 24, 2019.
Our next guest was Kwame Agyemang, newly minted Associate Professor at Louisiana State University. He talked about the tenure process, approval system, publication expectations, and some recommendations on how he would change the tenure process.
