There's Something Wrong With Aunt Diane (2011): Disturbia 2: Next Level
Honestly? Hell Yeah
It's the very movie that inspired this great (ahem) podcast, a movie that has been discussed at excruciating length throughout the bulk of our 15-year friendship, but ultimately a movie that we said we would never cover...until now. After almost two years of weighing in on topics we had no business commenting on and publicly humiliating ourselves in the process, we finally feel like we are ready to address one of the heaviest-hitting documentaries known to HBO: There's Something Wrong With Aunt Diane. In 2009, supermom Diane Schuler packed up her two children along with her three nieces into her minivan after a weekend camping trip and drove 80mph into oncoming traffic until she would make a violently fatal oncoming collision that would kill her, her daughter, her three nieces, and three other men. After her death, a toxicology report would reveal that she was--for lack of better term--cross-faded to the highest degree. While this may seem like a tragic case of reckless drunk driving, her remaining family refuses to believe it could be as simple as that, going on the media warpath to clear Diane's name in the eyes of their community. Join us as we dissect everything we know about this case, drawing our own conclusions, and even managing to have some LoLs where there none to be had. Also, drink every time Jen accidentally refers to Diane as "Danielle." Tune in!
INTRODUCING: Shear Crime: Episode Ten - There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane
Riddle Me That! True Crime
Come and listen to Ame and Kenzie cover the very odd story of Diane Schuler from the HBO documentary 'There's Something Wrong With Aunt Diane' On the way back from a camping trip with her children and nieces, the mini van she was driving ends up in a horrendous head on collision while driving the wrong direction down the Taconic highway, killing herself and seven other people. Friends and family are convinced something medical led to the very out of charecter actions that took place just before the accident, but no one will know for sure.Art: @fleshwadYTfleshwadyt@gmail.com

Thanks for listening to the Hansen Family Podcast! This time Justin and Kimball sit down and interview Aunt Diane (your dad or grandpa's favorite sister) and discuss her memories of growing up with 6 brothers in a two bedroom home! She reminisces about Elementary, Jr. High, and High School and how she and her brothers are super smart. We discuss Grandpa Hansen and his work, as well as all the shenanigans the Hansen kids were involved in as kids. Also, Aunt Diane reveals who her favorite sibling was growing up! Plus finally the origin story of how the color Sky Blue Pink came to be. The interview was conducted over Skype with a cell phone, so that's why the audio sounds the way it does - like a cell phone conversation.
