Closing Bell Overtime: Jim Cramer on the market 5/20/22
The Dow posts its eighth-straight week of declines for the first time since 1923. Jim Cramer weighs in on the volatile week for stocks. Plus, Mark Newton from Fundstrat Global Advisors outlines key metrics to watch when looking for a market bottom. And, Dan Ives from Wedbush explains why Apple is still his top stock pick.
On this episode Donny sits down with the host of CNBC's “Mad Money” and co-anchor of "Squawk on the Street", Jim Cramer. The two dig right into Jim's brand of helping people be who they want to be through financial freedom. They discuss how he went from sleeping in a car to managing a hedge fund, and why he decided to pivot into helping people make money. Jim also shares what he thinks is in store for businesses in a pandemic era and why he believes you should never bet on the end of the world. But before his sit-down with Jim, Donny reviews the brands at the forefront of today's headlines, giving his "ups" and "downs" to Jay-z, Michael Keaton, Tesla, Pepsi, and Tree Houses among others in his weekly Brands of the Week. Enjoy! cathiewoodstocks.com Link to see what stocks Cathie Wood is buying and selling Folks Jim Cramer did a video last night that explained why he thought many growth stocks are struggling and what stock market investors should fear. Jim Cramer said the reason stocks are falling is because of inflation and and bonds. Well bond yields moved up a lot in the back half of 2020, yet growth stocks thrived in that environment. Those stocks were seen as the best stocks to buy now. Now those same stocks are selling off and people say those stocks are just stocks to watch. Im like what.... If you love certain stocks for the long term why should now not be the time to buy stocks now? Why just sit around and say certain stocks are stocks to watch? The stock market will only keep the small cap stocks down for so long. Eventually the stock market will let these stocks to buy now fly up. I have respect for Jim Cramer, however we must admit the stock market is more complicated than just 1 or 2 things producing a stated outcome in the stock market. I think Jim Cramer knows this deep down. This is a Jeremy Lefebvre production - Financial Education 3 Link to apply for my Private Stocks group.
