The POZCAST: Career & Life Journeys with Adam Posner
Over the past 19 episodes I have had HR pros, thought leaders in cultural transformation and seasoned recruiters. But I have not had anyone on who is currently within their career journey specifically, nor have I had someone on who has continued to fight daily. I was immediately drawn to my next guest as I could relate to him directly having fought my own career battles over the past 15 years. Like him, I have been laid off multiple times and have had to dig down deep to harness my tenacity and my dude, Joe Gill is all tenacity. We found ourselves in the same linked in covos, sometimes aligned and other times having good-spirited debate over various topics. Lately Joe has been putting out almost daily content around social media best practices, being authentic and something that hits home super close to me, always adding value or as Joe says “being a valuenecer”, I LOVE IT! After 5 layoffs and surviving thyroid cancer, Joe believes you can overcome anything with resilience, perseverance and blue collar work ethic. Currently, Joe is a social media consultant for his agency, Valuencer. He is one part story shower…One part mad scientist… And one part detective.. These traits and skills help solve their clients social media marketing ROI mystery. For fun, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, drinking craft beer, being a star wars loving nerd and attending as many concerts as he can. Joe is the real deal, salt of the earth and speaks from the heart. He continues to fight the good daily. I love his never say die attitude, both personally and professionally and I am pumped to have him on #thepozcast to talk about his career journey. Please enjoy my conversation with Joe Gill. I appreciate you listening, commenting, sharing and subscribing. Thank you.

Music Friday: Joe Gill. Sonnet, both great new talent
It is no wonder our first guest today is turning heads in the indie music world. Joe Gil tells great stories with penetrating questions embedded in them, crafts opulent arrangements that draw you in, and tantalizes you with a voice that is at once soothing and otherworldly. Joe Gil is an emerging talent whose first two EP’s Joe Gil and Blankets presage a coming chart-topper. In segment 2, Sonnet joins us with her new EP, Sonnet. She seduces you with her one-of-kind-voice, lyrics that are as honest and authentic as you will hear anywhere and sumptuous arrangements that envelope you in what can only be described as “Sonnetworld"…a very nice place to be. I can hardly wait for the next album.
