Joel has opened for international touring talent like Layton Giordani, MSTRKRFT, D-Unity, Dave Angel, Gene Farris, Ardalan, Kevin & Dantiez Saunderson, DJ Heather, Ardalan, and others in venues such as Open Studios, MIA, Gorgomish, The Beaumont Studios, The Hifi Club, and more. Joel has played multiple times at Shambhala, Electric Love Festival, Festivus, and FozzyFest. In 2018, Joel played Melkweg in Amsterdam during ADE. Joel has released music on Kneaded Pains, Coincidence, No Match, Superfreq, Groundwerk, Kiko, Play, Air Texture, East Van Digital, Nuevadark, Cuete, and Woodwork. Joel is a co-founder of Groundwerk and the label head at Groundwerk Recordings. Joel produces house and techno and frequently plays his own music in his DJ sets. Nozstock is the latest festival to cancel amid ongoing COVID uncertainty and the insurance gap Although full-capacity events may be possible starting June 21, there is still concern that COVID restrictions may be extended or reinstated. The festival industry has frequently requested that the UK government provide state-backed insurance options due to the lack of cancellation insurance on the private market. Ministers, on the other hand, have thus far declined to initiate such a plan, at least until any initial constraints are lifted.
