We’re launching a new mix series, where we ask some of our most beloved DJ’s to add another dimension of our hotel music landscape. Our first guest is Ben Spalding. @BenSpaldingOfficial is a highly creative DJ, Producer, Record Label Owner and the man behind PuzzleProjectsGroup - which includes @PuzzleProjectsMusic, @PuzzledParties and several other highly progressive underground brands. A Londoner now based in Oslo, Norway, Ben has managed &amp; performed at music events in 35 countries over the last decade including Coachella Festival in California.  2019 proved to be a huge year for Ben as bookings for him as a solo act and @PuzzledParties shows took him on a 19-country world tour in nine months, playing sell-out shows across Europe, Asia &amp; Australia. While his 2020 touring schedule has been put on hold due to the Coronavirus pandemic, plans are in place for mid-late 2021 which will see him go on a USA and Mexico tour followed by a return tour of Asia across Bali, Singapore, Malaysia &amp; Hong Kong, Australia &amp; New Zealand and a debut tour in South America and many more locations to be confirmed. In March 2021 Ben will release the first of 4 x two-track House &amp; Techno EP’s with the renowned Berlin-based Musician, Live act &amp; Producer @RonaldChristoph. Ben Spalding has two passions in his life: his family and music. Ben grew up in the Winton Woods school district, where he met his future wife, Kylene, who shares his love of music. After graduating from the University of Kentucky, Ben taught music at Winton Woods schools. Ben now lives with his wife and two daughters in Centerville, Ohio.   Ben is an avid supporter of a cappella music and recently wrote a book with Deke Sharon and Brody McDonald, called  A Cappella (available at Amazon.com and other resellers).  He is a founding member of the A Cappella Education Association and is associated with several other a cappella organizations.  He is an instructor at Camp A Cappella and a clinician for vocal groups across the country.   Ben, along with Deke Sharon, has recently formed a professional a cappella group called Vocalight. Vocalight is comprised of award-winning vocalists and performers from the Dayton, Ohio area.   Ben is the head Choral Director at Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio.  At CHS, Ben directs all of the vocal groups and is also the music director for the fall and spring musicals. Under his direction, the Symphonic Choir has received Superior ratings at OMEA since 2011.  Forte, the premier a cappella group at CHS, are the 2016 ICHSA global champions.
