Inflation sucks. It sucked back in the 70s and 80s too. It's a word we hadn't hear much about in recent years... there was plenty more to terrorize us even without the specter of inflation. But like war, it's back and we're trying to figure out how to deal with it. This morning, Jonathan Larsen sent me a link to an article he wrote, "How Trump Caused Inflation: Trump Blocked Regulations Against Price Manipulation; Biden Has Yet to Acknowledge the Problem"-- and I think he's on to something. So Jonathan joins us today to talk about that. Also happening today, the senate is voting on the Women's Health Protection Act which would codify into law Roe v Wade, ostensibly preventing the Supreme Court from killing women's right to control our bodies. But it's doomed to fail as the Dems don't have 60 votes to overcome a filibuster. Damn, they don't even have the 50 they'd need if the Senate operated as a democracy. Go figure.

This week’s guest is Jonathan Larsen, managing editor over at The Young Turks (TYT) Network.  Ever since he and his colleagues obtained the formerly-secret invitation list to the yearly National Prayer Breakfast that The Family–otherwise known as “The Fellowship Foundation”–wanted desperately to keep a secret, Jonathan has been doing some great investigative reporting on this uber-secretive, dominionist Christian organization. First reported on by Jeff Sharlet in his book, and later Netflix series “The Family,” this clandestine evangelical organization has been actively working the corridors of power worldwide for decades, building relationships and seeking out “key men” to win to Christ–in the hopes that they will influence their nations and spheres of influence for the Kingdom of God.  Find out more by listening in! She also serves as the Secretariat for the Global Resuscitation Alliance, a coalition of worldwide leaders committed to saving more lives from sudden cardiac arrest. Jonathan Larsen retired from the Seattle Fire Department as a Senior Paramedic and the Captain of Medic One. He is one of the founding faculty of the Resuscitation Academy and leads the HP-CPR effort.
