I had the pleasure of a short interview with Rachel Walker. She is in Northern Canada (eh ?) and unfortunately, the weather controlled how long we could chat. I spoke to her a few days ago, and she is one of the most interesting musicians I've chatted with. Her music is varied. I love jazz, and she has jazz inspired songs, along with folk and rock inspired. She is an accomplished singer / songwriter with a large catalogue of original music. She has released four albums and continues to release a wide range of singles. Rachel enjoys collaborating with professional artists from around the world. Alvin Taylor is an American drummer, producer and musical director, who is best known for his work with Elton John, Eric Burdon , George Harrison, Billy Preston and Bob Welch. Rachel's website is: rachelwalkertrio.com. Take a look around and pick up a CD !!! We will do an episode 2 in the near future. I am hoping we can talk Rachel into singing one of her originals. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/appSupport this podcast: https://anchor.fm/michelemarotta/support
