The Electric Ancient Egyptians W/ James Ernest Brown

Lighting The Void

Live Weeknights 9 pm PST - Midnight PSThttps://www.lightingthevoid.comJames Brown has worked as a commercial contractor and builder for five decades. His family-owned construction company has built 2,300 homes, commercial buildings, and multi-family dwellings, winning five national awards for energy efficiency in cold weather climates. He describes himself as a practical thinker and believes that the logic and results of his research need to make practical sense. His perspectives on design and construction led him to question the simplistic assertion that pyramids were built as tombs. A well-known axiom in the building is “form follows function.”Brown’s journey began in 1977 with an epiphany regarding the nature of pyramids and a resulting relentless desire to comprehend the true purpose of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Being a professional builder and designer, he further developed a passion to decode the purposefully designed monuments of ancient Egypt. James Brown has traveled to Egypt multiple times since the 1970s, gathering evidence and data to support his alternative theories and ongoing research. He plans to build a scale model replica using pyramid geometry, modern materials, and updated methods, to demonstrate that the Great Pyramid’s main purpose was to electrify the water.JamesErnestBrown.comhttp://www.AncientEnergyResearch.comhttp://www.ElectricAncientEgytpians.comhttp://www.FireInMiddle.comMusic By://www.chronoxofficial.comGuitar B Bundy

It's easy to learn, loaded with strategy, and one of the cleverest games we've ever made. Each player selects a character card, and uses the dice described on the card. Players start by rolling all of their dice, and then take turns capturing each other's dice. You score points based on the size of the dice you capture (and keep), and the player with the most points wins. With endless variations of character recipes, unusual die types, and some simple new 'campaign' rules, Button Men is a game you can enjoy again and again.www.cheapass.comwww.beatpeopleup.cheapashttp://cheapass.com/s.com http://www.drivethrucards.com/builder/buttonmen https://www.facebook.com/ActualCheapassGames/ www.twitter.com/cheapassgames www.twitter.com/cheapassjames https://jococruise.com/ www.birdscoffeecompany.com/ Use Code Legends10 to get 10% off your order!Theme music created by Brett Miller http://www.brettmillermusic.net/

087 James Ernest Interview

Legends of Tabletop Podcast

James Ernest began his gaming career in 1993 as a technical writer for Wizards of the Coast. He has written the rules for Magic: The Gathering a grand total of four times. Unfortunately, none of these was the lucrative first time.Burdened with an abundance of unpublished games and alarmed by first-hand exposure to the tribulations of traditional game publishing, he launched Cheapass Games in 1996 with the flagship title Kill Doctor Lucky. The slow start of Cheapass Games in 1996 is marked by the fact that Kill Doctor Lucky won the Origins Award for Best Abstract Board game of the following year. For ten years, Cheapass Games released about twelve games per year, winning several awards and bringing light and joy to the hearts of dozens of humans. However, James Ernest was not able to pay his rent with light and joy. Thus, with a heavy heart and an empty bank account, James Ernest shuttered Cheapass Games, fired all of his staff, and retired into a dark cave called the computer games industry, in which he was forced to subsist on a massive paycheck and decent benefits. After more than five years in his cave, James Ernest has re-emerged Willy Wonka-style, producing new versions of his old games as well as some entirely new creations.http://cheapass.com/ https://www.facebook.com/ActualCheapassGames https://www.instagram.com/cheapassgames/ https://twitter.com/CheapassGames https://twitter.com/cheapassjamesTheme music created by Brett Miller http://www.brettmillermusic.net/
