This week on The Dragzine Podcast Chad Reynolds joins us. We get to hear from Chad about what got him into drag racing, Season 2 of Horsepower Wars, and a whole lot more.
Chad wears many hats. Outside of co-founding and running Golden Media Co., a YXE based video production company. Chad is also a musician, host (The Buzz, CFCR), trained urban planner, bootstrap hot sauce manufacturing and adventurer. During our time together, we chat about how savvy businesses are using video to showcase their people and culture, trashing a house during a music video shoot and the growing appetite for long-form video content.
Co-owners and publishers of Penny Candy Books, Alexis Orgera and Chad Reynolds, talk to Giuseppe Castellano about how they started a publishing company; what 5 steps are needed to publish a book; why they accept unsolicited manuscripts; and why diversity is integral to their mission.
Lastly, they discuss if Penny Candy Books—with employees living in Oklahoma, North Carolina, Georgia, and New Jersey—is the future of children’s book publishing.
We're joined this week by Sporting KC Creative Director Chad Reynolds! We talked to Chad about how he got to Sporting KC, what goes into the kit design process (he drops some info about kits for years to come!), the SKC rebrand, and Patrick Mahomes. We also make our MLS Cup predictions!

On today's episode, Andy, Charles and @producersean sit down with Sporting KC creative director (A.K.A. kit designer) Chad Reynolds to talk about SKC's brand new primary kit for the 2019 season, and so much more about the entire process of designing and creating a team's kits year after year, how long it takes from concept to launch date, likes and dislikes of kits gone by, and how the team's visual identity is built around what the players wear on the field. We REALLY nerded out on this one, so beware.

An interesting discussion tonight on the topic of “sponsorships” both from the Racer’s perspective, and that of the sponsors themselves. Did you know what we’re looking for when we consider sponsorships this time of year? Learn here!! Great laid back discussion with the guys over the Holidays. Hope you all had a good Holiday! Back to the grind!
I’m a huge advocate for Team Rubicon. I have been for a while now. I’ve interviewed both co-founders, Jake Wood and William McNulty. Both guys are super impressive.
One of their staff members gifted me a ticket to the Concert for Valor on the National Mall. During the concert, they showed various videos honoring veterans and veteran organizations. Team Rubicon was one of those organizations. In their video, miliary veteran Chad Reynolds talked about his struggle with emotional health and suicide.
I was moved by Chad’s story and reached out to him immediately. He gave it some though and agreed to join me on 1, 2, Many: Veteran Suicide.
Chad speaks about getting out of the military, joining the VA, becoming a police officer, and then volunteering for Team Rubicon. The journey he went on to discover a renewed purpose is inspiring and I believe many of you can resonate.
