After more than 30 years of experience in the creative field, Tim is now offering his expertise to startup owners through mentorships and developing educational programs. Tim first started out as a screen printer in the Publix Corporate sign shop. This helped him to begin learning creative and graphic design skills, then eventually led him to begin their creative team, which grew to more than 100 people over the years he served as the director of the department. As the Director of Creative Services, he oversaw the creative side of the company, including design strategy and print, digital, and broadcast communications. During his time at Publix, Cox largely contributed to the shift in how Publix was perceived through rebranded package design. Now, as the Expert in Residence, Tim will meet with startup business owners one-on-one to give practical advice and share the knowledge he has acquired over the years.
