Scotland Rugby and Glasgow Warrior Player | Ruaridh Jackson

Sheikhys Sports Journey's Podcast

Subscribe to our YouTube Channel for full video! Ruaridh scored his first points in a Scotland jersey in a situation that some would say only dreams are made of. Slotting home a 22 metre penalty in the last kick of the match against Samoa in the final EMC Autumn test of 2010, not only that he done it at Pittodrie Stadium in his home city of Aberdeen! He became an important part of the Scotland squad earning a further 14 caps for his country. Unfortunately a bad knee injury put a stop to his progress with the national team and his new team at the time, The Wasps. Ruaridh battled back to fitness for club and country and managed to feature again for both! Jackson has now decided its time to hang up his boots and the end of this 2019-2020 pandemic affected season. I wish you all the best in your retirement! It was an absolute pleasure to have you on as my first rugby guest. Good luck in your new ventures! Please follow us on all social media platforms: Twitter Instagram Facebook iTunes Spotify
